Whether you are a new or returning media member, Thank
You for supporting the McDonald's LPGA Championship, presented by
Coca-Cola. We hope you will enjoy watching the world's top women golfers as
they compete at Bulle Rock, a classic Pete Dye designed golf course.
With a field of 150 professional golfers from over 22
countries, competing for a purse of $2 million, there are certainly stories
to tell. In addition to hosting a first-class
event, we are committed to helping the real winners: the kids. Since its
inception 28 years ago, the McDonald's LPGA
Championship has raised over $46 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities
and other children's charities, in an effort to support the health and well
being of children.

players, carrying an oversized sign with their
scores. But I never imagined that the job's
principal challenge would be avoiding involuntary,
spasmodic eruptions during the backswing of the
event's best-known player.
